Mango Jam
 

Ingredients (for 2-lb. breadmaker):
*For BB-PAC model, please use the recipe in the instruction manual.

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen mango, diced (defrost frozen mango)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pkg. fruit pectin

This recipe was developed for the Home Bakery Supreme® Breadmaker (BBCC-X20/BB-CEC20). Adjustments may be required for making this recipe in other models of the Home Bakery.

Make sure the kneading blades are properly attached, and add all ingredients to the baking pan.

Place the baking pan into the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the cord into the outlet. Select the JAM course and press START. Cooking time is 1 hour 20 minutes.

When the cycle completes, remove the pan from the Home Bakery and allow the jam to cool.

Pour the jam into a container and refrigerate or freeze to thicken.

Enjoy it with your favorite slice of bread!

Variations:

Try using kiwi or berries in place of mango. We suggest that you use fruit pectin when using juicy fruits.
