Q1: Where can I get troubleshooting help?

A: If you have checked the troubleshooting section of the instruction manual and need further assistance, please contact Customer Service Department here.

Q2: Why does my infrared thermometer show a lower or higher temperature than the temperature control on my Zojirushi indoor electric grill or electric griddle?

A: It is difficult to get an accurate reading with home use equipment such as an infrared thermometer. The Zojirushi indoor electric grill and electric griddle are designed to work with a fluctuating heater to keep the cooking surface from overheating. This fluctuation in the heat source would yield inaccurate readings with an infrared thermometer.

Q3: Why is my Zojirushi indoor electric grill producing more smoke?

A: Unusual amounts of smoke may be produced if the grill has food residue buildup on the surface, especially on the underside. Please refer to the instruction manual for cleaning and maintenance procedures. For assistance, please reach out to our Customer Service.

Q4: How do I properly clean the grill?

A: After the grill is turned off and unplugged, carefully wipe it with a soft paper towel or cloth while the grill is warm. Once the grill is cool wash with a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid while being careful that the temperature control receptacle does not get wet. Be sure to clean the underside as well. Wipe and dry it with a soft cloth. Do not submerge in water or place it in the dishwasher.

Q5: Is the cooking plate for the Zojirushi electric griddle dishwasher safe?

A: The cooking plate is not dishwasher safe. It should be wiped down with a soft paper towel or cloth while the plate is warm. Once it’s cool clean it with a soft sponge, mild dishwashing liquid and warm water. Wipe and dry it with a soft cloth. Do not submerge the plate in water.

Q7: Are all nonstick coated cooking surfaces on Zojirushi Indoor Electric Grills, Electric Griddles, or Electric Skillets PFOA-free?

A: Yes, all the nonstick coated cooking surfaces on all of our electric products are PFOA-free.

Q8: Is there a deep pan with a divider available for my Zojirushi electric skillet EP-RAC50 or EP-PBC10?

A: Unfortunately, the deep pan with a divider is exclusively designed for the Electric Skillet for Yin Yang Hot Pot EP-PFC20. Each Zojirushi electric skillet is designed for different uses and come with its own set of accessories. If you have any questions about accessories or usage, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Department.

Q9: Are the parts for my Zojirushi electric product dishwasher safe?

A: Unfortunately, the parts are not dishwasher safe. For proper care and maintenance instructions, refer to your electric product's instruction manual. We've included detailed guidance to help you keep your Zojirushi electric product in excellent condition.

Q10: Can I use the griddle, grill or skillet overseas using a voltage converter or plug adapter?

A: The electrical products you see on this website are manufactured to be used in the US or Canada, and the use of voltage converters or plug adapters are not recommended. Should the unit become damaged or require service after being used overseas, any repair services, parts, and warranty would only be available within the US and Canada.

Q11: Where can I order replacement parts for my Zojirushi gourmet product?

Q12: What are the benefits of a magnetic type power cord?

A: Magnetic power cords are generally safer to use, especially for appliances that are used on tabletops. It is designed so that the power cord comes off of the appliance easily when the cord is accidentally pulled or stepped on and helps prevent injuries and scalds.
