Vacuum Insulated Food Jars

A: Please try making a paste with baking soda and water, apply it on the rubber gaskets and allow it to dry. Once dry wash the rubber gaskets thoroughly.
A: This can happen if the gasket is installed incorrectly. Please check that the stopper packing is place at the bottom of the stopper.

A: Zojirushi SlickSteelĀ® Finish is an alternative to our nonstick coating. They are non-coated on the inside and instead use an electrically charged polishing process to treat and finish the interior. The result is a corrosion resistant surface that repels foreign substances and stains, creating a smooth and ultra-clean stainless steel environment for your food and beverages. A: Preheat or precool your food jar by filling with hot or cold water, attach the stopper and let stand for at least five minutes. Empty the water and fill with your food or beverage.
A: The interior of all our food jars is made of high quality stainless steel, and is BPA-free. Stoppers, mouth rings and all other plastic parts are also BPA-free.
A: Always rinse out your food jar after each use and rinse the stopper under running water. Do not soak the food jar in water or place in a dishwasher to clean. The exterior can be cleaned using a moist sponge or soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. The interior can be cleaned using a mild dishwashing liquid and then rinsed thoroughly. Please refer to your instruction manual for more.
A: The food jar SW-GCE36 has a fill line inside indicating how much can be filled. Overfilling your food jar above this fill line may cause contents to leak or the lid to open accidentally, and could be dangerous.
